Our beef tallow comes exclusively from grass-fed cattle in the Lake Constance region. It is a valuable byproduct of cattle farming and is put to good use instead of going to waste. So we work locally, responsibly, and resource-efficiently.
Apply to clean, slightly damp skin and gently massage in. Since tallow is very rich, a thin layer is enough. For combination or oily skin, focus more on dry or sensitive areas like cheeks or the eye area, and use less on the T-zone. Allow to fully absorb before applying sunscreen or makeup.
As with all natural products, batches may vary due to natural ingredients and/or conditions beyond human control. The statements on this website have not been reviewed or approved. They are not intended to diagnose or treat, but are for informational purposes only. If you have health concerns, please consult your doctor.
Store in a cool, dry, and dark place. Since our balm contains no preservatives, make sure to use only clean, dry hands or a spatula to remove it. It may melt and separate in warm temperatures. This is normal and does not affect quality. Simply stir and let it solidify again in the fridge. Shelf life: 6 months after opening the product.

"I firmly believe that skincare works best when it is as pure and natural as possible. With TALLOW, I want to help people restore balance to their skin—gently, honestly, and effectively."

-
Is tallow even right for my skin type?
Yes. Beef tallow has a skin-like structure, making it well tolerated and suitable for all skin types—especially sensitive, dry, or irritated skin.
-
How often should I use tallow?
You can use tallow daily—morning, evening, or whenever your skin needs care.
-
Why should I use tallow instead of regular creams?
Tallow uses only a few, pure ingredients, is free from artificial additives, and naturally supports your skin barrier.
-
Does tallow smell like meat?
Tallow can naturally have an intense scent. Through our gentle processing, we remove the typical natural odor—without any artificial fragrances. This keeps the care experience subtle and pleasant—even for sensitive noses.
-
How do I know if tallow is right for me?
If you struggle with irritated or dry skin, have tried many well-known brands and nothing has really helped—or if you just want natural, uncomplicated care without unnecessary additives—then Tallow is exactly what you need.
-
Does tallow make skin oily?
No. Because tallow is similar to the skin's own fats, it absorbs well and leaves your skin feeling nourished, not greasy.
-
Can tallow irritate or clog my skin?
Generally, no. Tallow is especially mild and skin-friendly. However, every skin is different—try it first on a small area to be sure.
-
Is tallow suitable for vegans or vegetarians?
Unfortunately, not for vegans—Tallow is an animal-based product. However, many vegetarians consciously choose it because beef tallow is a by-product of organic cattle farming that is put to good use. This creates skincare that is sustainable and makes respectful use of resources.
